The Wellness Center at Rollins College is seeking a Training Coordinator/Counselor to join their team! Reporting to the Assistant Director of CAPS Clinical Services of the Wellness Center, the Training Coordinator/Counselor coordinates all aspects of the practicum/internship training program including recruitment, orientation, supervision and evaluation of trainees as well as coordination of didactic seminars.


In addition, the person in this position provides direct clinical services, consultation, educational programming, and outreach to the campus community consistent with the Wellness Center's mission, which is directed toward enhancing levels of wellness and empowering students to be self-directed in their own care.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Training Coordinator Duties

Manage center wide training and professional development activities for Master's level practicum and intern students.
Coordinate recruitment and selection process.
Coordinate onboarding and orientation of Master's level practicum and intern students.
Foster and maintain relationships with Wellness Center academic training partners.
Oversight of trainee supervision.
Provision of weekly group supervision for training cohort.
Monitor relevant requirements for CACREP training compliance.
Maintains training records and files.


Clinical Duties

Conduct individual, group, and/or couples therapy.
Triage walk-in, crisis, and emergency clients.
Serve as a campus community mental health expert offering consultative services to faculty, staff, administrations, athletic staff, and families.
Provides supervision to practicum and internship trainees. As needed, provides supervision to Registered Interns.
Develops referral networks and makes appropriate referrals.
Maintains accurate and complete clinical records.
Exhibits exceptional customer service, professionalism, and teamwork in all aspects of work.
Supports vision and mission of the Wellness Center.
Follows confidentiality standards, treating all client/patient information as confidential and protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our clients/patients.
Provide consultation services to students, faculty, staff, and parents.
Exhibit crisis intervention and crisis management skills.
Collaborate with other professionals internally and externally; and assist in case management.
Contribute to annual report and assessment efforts.
Design and deliver outreach, education, and training efforts for various college constituents.
Represent Wellness Center with professional demeanor and composure at outreach events and other meetings occurring both on and off-campus.
Maintain licensure and high level of clinical competency by attending appropriate professional development programs.


Minimum Qualifications:

Master's or doctoral degree in mental health related discipline.
Licensed in the state of Florida (PHd, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT).
Certification as a Qualified Clinical Supervisor in the state of Florida.
Minimum 5 years experience in the mental health field.
Minimum 3 years of clinical supervision experience with well-developed clinical supervision skills.
Demonstrated presentation and training skills for diverse groups.
Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse staff, faculty, and student population.
Strong administrative, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Dedication and effectiveness in working as a team.
Conflict management and problem-solving ability, with ability to perform under stressful situations.
Knowledge of professional ethical guidelines, including the maintenance of confidentiality.
Availability and readiness to work during non-office hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends.


Preferred Qualifications:

Previous or current work with college students.


Work Schedule:

This position is a ten-month appointment and is scheduled to run August through May, 7.5 hours/day, 37.5 hours per week, 1612.5 hours annually. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.*

*Overtime and weekends may be required as needed.

Work Environment:

Office environment and community outreach.
Work requires visual strain and use of computer.
