Position Description
Represents Texas Tech University both on and off campus to prospective students, parents, staff and faculty of area high schools and community colleges to attract quality applicants and achieve enrollment goals. Coordinates and contributes to the success of various visit schedules for area high school and community colleges in the assigned area. Plans assigned recruiting events and programs. Counsels prospective applicants on the admissions process and opportunities at the university.

Major/Essential Functions
Recruitment of undergraduate students to the University specifically the regional sites, including following up with prospects and applicants through various communication sources, providing information to prospective students, participating in college fairs and attending events within the community including chamber of commerce and alumni events.

Counsel prospective applicants on the graduate admissions process and opportunities at the university. Guide new students through the graduate application process, including the exploration and selection of degrees, the graduate school application, FAFSA, grad scholarships, transcript analysis. Collaborate with program directors through the graduate admissions process.

Communicate effectively with prospective students and counselors through meetings and admission presentations at the regional sites, college visits, through degree program or career day presentations, in college classrooms, and with area businesses.

Plan and implement student recruitment events within the assigned region using Sales-Force, Zoom, Blackboard and Calendly. Track student recruitment data in accordance with student admissions. Represents, promotes and markets the Texas Tech brand within the assigned region. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree plus one (1) year related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal five (5) years.
