Position Description
Performs academic counseling or training at the individual level. May supervise counselors or other employees. Performance is based on individual counseling effectiveness and overall program results obtained.

Major/Essential Functions

Provides academic counseling and coaching to students identified with learning disabilities, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Work directly with tutors to ensure the provision of effective tutoring to students in the program.
Provide guidance and direction to both tutors and students on academic goals and progress.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two years experience in related area. Additional education in a related area may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in counseling with students with disabilities.
Classroom experience working with this population of students.
Academic advising is also very helpful.
